After what seems like it may have been a long pregnancy, Halle Berry has finally welcomed her little girl into the world. Halle’s daughter with her boyfriend and model Gabriel Aubry was born Sunday morning at 10:17 AM at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. Her little one was 7 lbs and 4 oz and all reports are that Halle and her wee one are doing great. The birth came after an on again off again labor, as Halle felt herself going into labor very early on Saturday morning. She went into the hospital, and after some kerfuffle with her blood pressure, her labor stopped and she was sent home. Only to return a few hours later to say hello to her brand new little girl. No name has been released yet, but you have to know with a gene pool like Halle and Gene’s, this little princess is going to be a beauty. Happy birthday to Halle and Gabriel’s little girl, and many congrats!

Halle Berry is seen here with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry to satisfy some of her cravings. Cravings for P.F. Changs that is, the couple were seen grabbing some take out and enjoying some quality time together. The two are one of those ‘disgustingly in love’ couples, as you can see with their matching Cartier love bracelets. These are the ritzy blings that couples wear and lock up and give their partner the key. Awww…..so sweet. In other Halle news, don’t expect this actress to stay in the woodworks once she has her bambino. She recently spoke to the press about having to fight for her role in the new film “Things We Lost in the Fire”. She wanted the role because it represented the deep, female character that Halle loves to portray, and finds rare in Hollywood. She finds the role ‘needy’ and ‘deep’ and connected with the material. What do you think? Is Halle gearing up for another Oscar statue? Don’t be surprised.

In other Halle news, she is said to be having some personal problems with her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubrey. She wants to live and raise her baby in Los Angeles, but Gabriel wants to continue his modeling career in New York and has no intentions of a cross-country move. This has the potential to create some major trauma in the relationship, and in the custody situation of the baby as Halle is pretty sure their relationship won’t survive a physical split like this. Long distance relationships are always difficult, but when you throw children into the mix, it gets even more complicated. Let’s hope these two can work the issues out BEFORE the little Berry arrives.
On Saturday night, Halle Berry appeared at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room in New York to promote her new movie “Things We Lost in the Fire” hosted by The Cinema Society. This movie, is a compelling drama about two people brought together through Fate. Audrey Burke, Halle’s role, has just experienced the sudden death of her husband and she turns to one of her husband’s life long friends, Jerry Sunborne (played by Del Toro) to work on repairing their lives. Oh this sound so predictable already doesn’t it? Grieving widow turns to hubby’s best friend, ba da bing! It IS Halle Berry though, let’s see how this one turns out. You can see she showed up at the screening with an obvious baby bump already, and when appearing on Oprah she mentioned how it took her 35 pregnancy tests to believe this was all finally happening.
