The two are one of those ‘disgustingly in love’ couples, as you can see with their matching Cartier love bracelets. These are the ritzy blings that couples wear and lock up and give their partner the key. Awww…..so sweet. In other Halle news, don’t expect this actress to stay in the woodworks once she has her bambino. She recently spoke to the press about having to fight for her role in the new film “Things We Lost in the Fire”. She wanted the role because it represented the deep, female character that Halle loves to portray, and finds rare in Hollywood. She finds the role ‘needy’ and ‘deep’ and connected with the material. She wants to live and raise her baby in Los Angeles, but Gabriel wants to continue his modeling career in New York and has no intentions of a cross-country move. This has the potential to create some major trauma in the relationship, and in the custody situation of the baby as Halle is pretty sure their relationship won’t survive a physical split like this. Long distance relationships are always difficult, but when you throw children into the mix, it gets even more complicated. Let’s hope these two can work the issues out BEFORE the little Berry arrives.

On Saturday night, Halle Berry appeared at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room in New York to promote her new movie “Things We Lost in the Fire” hosted by The Cinema Society. This movie, is a compelling drama about two people brought together through Fate. Audrey Burke, Halle’s role, has just experienced the sudden death of her husband and she turns to one of her husband’s life long friends, Jerry Sunborne (played by Del Toro) to work on repairing their lives. Oh this sound so predictable already doesn’t it? Grieving widow turns to hubby’s best friend, ba da bing! It IS Halle Berry though, let’s see how this one turns out. You can see she showed up at the screening with an obvious baby bump already, and when appearing on Oprah she mentioned how it took her 35 pregnancy tests to believe this was all finally happening. Well, not something that she normally practices, but Halle Berry has had to look into getting some security detail. We are talking around the clock here. She has been the not so happy recipient of some anonymous musings with a distinct racist slant and with distinct threats, not just implied, but given. I am not sure how many she’s received, but one such letter mentioned something to the effect of how she and her child would be ‘cut into hundreds of pieces’. While we don’t know the exact details of the threats other than that, the consensus seems to be that they stem from the fact that Halle has a white mother, African-American father, and the father of her child – Gabriel Aubry – is white. While this kind of thing actually does happen to celebrities quite often, police are in full investigation. In the meantime Halle has beefed up her security team. And as idiotic as the individual sending these is, it must be very scary for her. Just what every pregnant woman needs, a psycho racist stalker. Sheesh! We hope they catch this wingnut for you, Halle!

Well if you’ve been waiting for a chance to watch some pretty people finally get fat, here it is for you. It’s official, the rumors and speculation can come to a grinding halt. Halle Berry has confirmed with Access Hollywood that she is in fact three months pregnant with Gabriel Aubry’s baby. This will be the first child for the 41 year old actress and she is beyond excited. I love it when celebs say that, as if they would even say they weren’t thrilled beyond repair. But she is so excited she has said the next 7 months will be the longest of her life. She has also postponed filming of her next picture ‘Tulia’ which was supposed to start in October. Many congratulations Halle and Gabriel!
