She’s not exactly the all black type, but perhaps she has chosen this styling to shake off the latest news in her life that she and Jake Gyllenhaal are officially single again. Yes, it has been a bad week for breakups, with this news just on the heels of the Kate Hudson/A Rod situation, but this is a breakup that is actually surprising to us, as this relationship has been considered quite serious for a very long time. We’ve been wondering a lot about what has been going on, since they are very good at staying under the radar, but there seems to be a general rule in Hollywood that once rumors start about a breakup, the relationship is as good as over, and these rumors have been ongoing for quite some time now. Reese herself has even worked very hard to quash the rumors, going on about what a great cook Jake is, how fabby he is with the kids, and what a funny man he is gush gush gush. But now it seems that the official word has sprung that neither his funniness nor cuisinart skills meant a damn thing when it came right down to it. The latest speculation comes from US Weekly, with the reason behind the split being that Jake wanted to get married, and Reese wasn’t wanting to rush things. There’s another speculation floating she wasn’t too sure how he would do with her kids on a permanent basis. And lastly, if you want to believe every rumor spinning on the mill, Reese drove the car to splitsville and Jake is devastated. Another rumor is that Jake said goodbye to her for being a “tight ass” and that she was just not that much fun to be with as she used to be. Or not. Bottom line is they are holidaying separately, and to say he had problems with her kids can’t possibly be true considering they’ve been together for well over a year. If you ask me, her first husband was a complete doinkus, and she’s afraid to go through that heartbreak again. Who can blame her. Regardless, it’s a sad breakup, I was really rooting for these two. SO cute together.

Ah yes, even the best of journies have their little bumps along the road, and it seems to be the case for Reese and Jake. And this time we aren’t talking about the dogs just not getting along. No, sounds like real relationship issues are in the works for these two, but they are those of the normal variety when you are in a long term, and sometimes long distance relationship. With heavy production schedules and work taking Jake on location overseas, Reese has been getting a little antsy about being alone too much these days. Some have even been using the word ‘clingy’. Ouch! Jake is currently dashing between England and Morocco for his latest film ‘Prince of Persia: Sands of Time’ and this issue alone seems to be causing this poster couple of cuteness some heart troubles. Reese doesn’t like him being away, and recently headed off to London to visit him, but sources say it was more about keeping tabs on him than actually wanting to be with him. Yes, even Reese Witherspoon has her own insecurities, but why would she need to keep tabs on him? When they are apart for too long, Reese gets worried and dashes to the nearest airport to get as close to him as she can. And this neediness and clinginess is getting on Jake’s nerves. Needy and clingy are words I never thought I’d think of with Reese, but you know how it goes….even the prettiest most together girls worry I guess. But does she really have anything to worry about? I mean, who would have the nerve to cheat on Reese Witherspoon? Oh right…never mind….

Reese Witherspoon has made no secret about how googly eyed she has been over her recent amour, Jake Gyllenhaal. Yes yes, Reese and Jake have been going hot and heavy ever since they met on the set of ‘Rendition’ and they are about as serious as it gets without having that little piece of paper and that big rock on her finger. But we sense those minor details are in the works, now that Jake and Reese have been playing house for some time in Reese’s 5.17 million dollar pad. And yes, even their REPS say it’s serious. So you have to know this may ACTUALLY be true Tinseltown love! But uh oh….trouble in paradise. Well no relationship can ever STAY perfect, right? But if you think there is going to be scandal, drug secrets, or big fat cheaters in the midst, think again. C’mon folks, we’re talking about Reese WITHERSPOON. Nope, this happy go lucky well-named America’s Sweetheart is heartbroken because her dog, Frank Sinatra, doesn’t like Jake’s dog, Atticus. And yeah, that’s a true story. The dogs are jealous of each other and will start barking and snapping at each other whenever Reese tries to walk them together. It’s come to the point where the dogs must be separated at walk time, and Reese has also hired a personal trainer for her Ol’ Blue Eyes in hopes that the two dogs will learn to live in harmony. Oh sigh, what is to become of them. Are Reese and Jake going to have to go their separate ways for the sake of Frank and Atticus? I don’t see that happening. And HONESTLY. If THIS is their biggest problem….sheeshhhh

Reese Witherspoon was spotted here at an after party following the premiere of ‘Swing Vote’ in Hollywood last week. And as usual, she is looking cool and casual, and relaxed with her life. And why shouldn’t she be, all things seem to be going well for her. We do know that Reese and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal are still going very strong, and he has recently moved into her $5.07 million dollar home with his dog Atticus, ad her two kids Deacon and Ava. And while there has been a lot of talk about marriage on the table, nothing official has been announced. That we know of. But somehow it’s been leaked that she and Jake want their dog to be the ring bearer at their wedding. Jake’s dog Atticus has become part of the family, as much as Jake has, and they want him to be a part of the celebration. Is this a subtle way of giving an unofficial official announcement? Or is this just Hollywood fairy tale talk as in….if we ever got married…who knows? My bet is on wedding bells. And soon!

The two most sought after spots for guest appearances on TV, believe it or not, are Sesame Street and Saturday Night Live. And it seems James Blunt has scored one of the big ones with Sesame Street where he sings about his love for a triangle to the tune of his hit “You’re Beautiful”. This is probably found very endearing by Reese Witherspoon, despite the fact that her kids may enjoy it the word is that she is besotted with the singer. The pair met after his show in Los Angeles El Rey Theatre last month and it’s said that she is apparently besotted with him as there appears to be a lot of chemistry between the two. Talks of Reese’s pairing with Jake Gyllenhaal have surfaced lately, but as I suspect… it’s all just a sham to promote their flop of a movie, Rendition. It’s amazing what stars will do to promote a movie… cough, romantic vacay in Rome. James has been paired with Petra Nemcova, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson as well as Kate Bosworth. Let’s see where this one goes shall we!

After three months of dating, Hollywood’s most low-key couple is still going strong! Reese Witherspoon, 31, and Jake Gyllenhaal, 26, who met last summer on the set of the movie Rendition, had a rendezvous following a May 25th visit to a doctor’s office in Culver City, California.

After the appointment, the pair hopped into separate cars and headed to Witherspoon’s house.

“Jake put his hand out of the sunroof and was waving, “says an eyewitness. “They looked totally in love.”

That’s the impression he’s giving pals: “Jake said he’s found someone who knows how to look out for both of them, and not just themselves,” a Gyllenhaal source tells Us. “Reese is more attentive than anyone else he knows.” ~Us Weekly

Jake Gyllenhaal presented Jennifer Aniston with the Vanguard Award @ this year’s 18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards presented by Absolut Vodka in Los Angeles. She won for her contributions in increasing the visibility and understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. Tennis legend, Martina Navratilova also won at this year’s awards and was presented with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award by ‘N Sync member Lance Bass.

Guests who attended the Los Angeles event included Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe from Days of Our Lives), Rebecca Romijn and beau Jerry O’Connell, Reichen Lehmkuhl, Eva Mendes, etc.

Well we can’t say we didn’t see this one coming. The two developed a close friendship while working on their new movie “Rendition” last year. Since then the two have been spotted together very often lately outside of work.

According to OK! magazine in the beginning of March Reese visited Jake at a Greenwich Village apartment in NYC and she ended up staying there for about 45 min! hmm….I wonder what they did?? :) Then the next day it was Jake’s turn to visit Reese at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel where Reese was staying. OK! magazine reports that Jake ended up staying the night !! Now a close insider reports “They are 100% dating” I say good for them they make a very cute couple !!
