Well yes, we all saw this one coming, but the only surprise to this breakup is that it took so long to happen, but that’s what happens with more than most teen pregnancies, no? Jamie Lynn Spears has certainly been way under the radar since she gave birth to her daughter Maddie almost 2 years ago, and we all thought she was just enjoying mommy hood and playing house with baby daddy Casey Aldridge, right? Well, we all thought so, but it seems it ain’t so. Here she is seen in her home town of McComb, Mississippi running errands with her baby girl, and by the sounds of it, she may be errand running on the solo side much more often in the coming days, weeks, months, whatever. Yes, the news has finally hit that Jamie Lynn Spears and the father of her baby, Casey Aldridge, are no longer playing house, they are soooooo over. But Casey Aldridge sure did have some fun. How many other teenage pipe layers get to have themselves immortalized on a lawn mower by the paparazzi? But, alas, it’s time to forget him all over again, because they’ve hit splitsville, and most around them are hoping it’s for good. But as you can imagine, once a Spears girl, always a Spears girl, and Jamie Lynn, 18, had no trouble finding a new boyfriend. I mean, she’s Zoey 101. She’s been dating James Watson, a 28-year-old who runs a company that installs electronics for other companies, since December. He lives in Hammond, Louisiana, about half an hour south of Jamie Lynn’s home in Kentwood. “I don’t think James cares at all about who she is,” a source tells Star. (side bar, that’s supposed to be a compliment) Both Casey and Jamie Lynn have now moved out of their place in Liberty, Missouri. Jamie Lynn is back at her mom Lynn’s estate, Serenity, in Kentwood, while Casey has weirdly disappeared. He’s doing “long term construction in another state” according to People magazine. Wow, how vague. And anticlimactic. Just like when Brenda went away to school in London on 90210 and they thought we’d just forget all about her. Well, maybe that strategy will work a little better with Casey. Disappointed? Hm, no, not too surprised either. It does not really sound like too many hearts were bleeding over this one.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ fiancé Casey Aldridge is seen here washing up his ATV at a local car wash, and looking just ever so cool why he does so, no? But from the sounds of it, Casey has been feeling anything but too cool as of late after a recent car accident he was in this past weekend. Casey was driving his F250 early Sunday morning and was involved in a car accident which left him charged with careless operation of a vehicle which is a misdemeanor in the state of Mississippi where he lives. I have to wonder how slow to the punch you have to be to drive a Ford F250 truck carelessly, and to be injured while you are driving something THAT big had to have been a major accident. At any rate, he is currently hospitalized at the University of Mississippi Medical Center according to some reports, though staff at the hospital are reluctant to confirm one way or another. That in itself is kind of a joke, since he is hardly a household name and it’s not like he’s George Clooney or something. But family “sources” are saying that he is fully alert, is doing okay, and able to talk and visit with friends and family. They are saying he “should recover fully, but of course you never know, but they are not expecting him to get any worse.” He’s also been in Intensive Care for a few days as a result of the accident, but there is no word really on how extensive his injuries really are. It sounds like he was driving a little erratically, and his truck was full of passengers as well when it ran off the road and did a little roll over. There is no word yet though on whether or not substances were involved, and no indication to believe that is the case. Again, all of this points to forgetting to use a little bit of intelligence when you are driving an F250, because you have to be going pretty darn fast for that baby to roll. Of course the Spears family is not commenting much, but you have to know they are a little preoccupied. Our wishes to Casey and family for a speedy and full recovery.

And since the birth of her little one, Jamie Lynn has received accolades for returning to her pre-baby figure in what seemed to be record speed. What was Jamie Lynn’s secret? Many celebrities don’t have a problem admitting they hit the gym and logged the personal trainer hours at a maximum after they had their babies, but Jamie Lynn doesn’t seem to have an active gym life now does she?

Could it be the mere fact that she has the body, and thus the metabolism of a 17 year old? No doubt those are factors that are definitely helping her ease back into size 2 form, but some rumors have come about that suggest that Jamie Lynn has gone to extreme measures to return to her svelte and sexy figure. Much of her baby weight was attributed to just that, standard baby weight and bloat, but it sounds like Jamie Lynn couldn’t wait for the bloat to settle down. It has been said that she and her mom made arrangements for her to go under the liposuction vac, during her pregnancy, in order to ensure her baby behind would stay just where it is supposed to stay when one is 17 years old with the Spears last name.

After shopping, she headed back to her parents house to fiancé Casey and her brand new baby girl. And by all counts it appears that Jamie’s life is somewhat normal as she is entrenched in new motherhood at the age of 17, but there have been some reports that it is possible that Jamie Lynn is pregnant again. Let’s consider the source, the rumor DID come from the National Enquirer, but the rumor sparked more than speculation across the board. The rumor comes down to the fact that Jamie Lynn was under the impression that you couldn’t get pregnant when you were breastfeeding, and that an little *oops* happened somewhere along the way. Before we trash Jamie’s knowledge on health education, it sounds like this was all made up for a headline in the Enquirer. Jamie Lynn’s rep has denied the rumors, along with the rumor that Jamie’s fiancé is guilty of infidelity. Hmmm. While celebrities have been known to heatedly deny pregnancy rumors until they are safely into their second trimester, some say this rumor can almost go either way. And while most stars can’t be bothered with every blab that hits the tabloid, Jamie Lynn is not one of those, so she sat down with OK Magazine to dispel the rumors. She says that Casey has not been unfaithful, that she’s not pregnant, and that Casey never cheated with a 29 year old when Jamie Lynn was pregnant. And while dispelling tabloid rumors may be just another errand to run in the day of the Spears family, it sounds like Casey Aldridge’s family has just about had enough. They aren’t used to the media drama, and it makes them very uncomfortable. Hm. I wonder what bothers them the most. Being hounded by the paps? Or having it spread across the nation that your son is a big fat cheater? Who knows? Anyone’s guess at this point I suppose.

It’s always something with these Spears girls, and it sounds like Jamie Lynn can’t even breastfeed her daughter anymore without someone getting arrested over it. But yes, this Jamie Lynn story starts like any other, at Wal-Mart. Jamie Lynn and her fiancé Casey Aldridge were in Wal-Mart with their camera memory card and did the middle class thing of printing their pictures at the in-store kiosks. And, just like any other family, these two had regular old family pictures on the card that weren’t unlike anyone else’s family pictures. There were shots of Britney with her brand new niece, Jamie Lynn’s daughter, Maddie, and many hospital photos of the beautiful day of arrival of Maddie. Some pictures were taken of Jamie Lynn in her hospital bed, of Jamie Lynn in a negligee, of Jamie Lynn breastfeeding, and some solo shots of the real star of the family, Maddie. And you have to know that some smart punked Wal-Mart employee got a hold of the shots, and particularly enjoyed spreading the ones around of Jamie Lynn breastfeeding her daughter. Good grief! How sick and twisted do you have to be to make porn out of something as beautiful as that of ANYONE, never mind a celebrity. But Jamie Lynn seems to be taking the situation rather maturely, and this is indicative of her entire mothering style it sounds, as she is very much focused on staying out of the paparazzi’s eyes, and just being a good mom. An impressive attitude for a 17 year old I have to say, and definitely more impressive when said 17 year old has the Spears family name.

The airport security at LAX is under some heat after attempting to pull a stunt that involved fooling the paps with a Jamie Lynn Spears lookalike. Jamie Lynn was arriving to LAX last weekend from an Atlanta flight and the paps were waiting at the airport in all their frenzied glory. To ensure that Jamie Lynn arrived at LAX with no disturbances, the cops set up a fake Jamie Lynn arrival and asked one of the other travelers on the same flight to volunteer as a lookalike. And this is who you see here, a fake Jamie Lynn being escorted by the security to fool the paps. And from the sounds of it, the ploy worked as the real Jamie Lynn and her mom Lynne Spears got off the flight and out of the airport with absolutely no trouble at all, and no word from the paps. The fake Jamie Lynn on the other hand was thronged by the media and thus used the security to leave the airport. Well, from the sounds of it, the higher ups at the airport were not too pleased about the incident and an internal investigation is being conducted to find out who set this up and why. A spokesperson for LAX says

It is not the policy or practice for Airport Police to provide a celebrity decoy,” a spokesperson for LAX told E! News. “Los Angeles World Airports policy prohibits special courtesies to be provided to celebrities, unless extenuating circumstances such as threat of danger to the individual or the safety of the general public are involved.”

Kinda wierd, doncha think? One would think that the excuse of ‘being a Spears’ would be more than enough of an extenuating circumstance to justify a security scam. I mean, it’s not like we are trying to keep a Kardashian from being mobbed or something. But, the airport peeps don’t agree and thus some of the security cops that were involved are being investigated. I gotta say though, the paps in California can’t be all that bright. Did they even LOOK at this girl? Short brown hair. Yep. MUST be a Spears girl. DOI!

It is probably the biggest fear that strikes the heart of any teenaged girl when she first finds out that she is pregnant. Things like diaper changes, middle of the night feedings, and how am I going to pay for all of it are some of the last things that enter a girl’s mind when she ‘gets in trouble’. Or if they are, these matters do not take precedence over the first chilling fear ‘How am I going to tell my mom? She’s going to KILL me!’ When you are a celebrity with Spears as your last name, things are not any different. Lynn Spears is hot on the promo trail right now for her new book ‘Through the Storm’ where she dishes about every family secret. And it hasn’t gone over with the family that well, nor would it for any family whose laundry was aired as a means of pushing their own fame forward. But nonetheless, what is done is done, and the same goes for Jamie Lynn Spears who is handling mommyhood just fine, but it was not without some angst. Lynn Spears spoke on NBC’s Today show yesterday to spill the dirt on how she found out that Jamie Lynn was pregnant. No, it wasn’t a sit down heartfelt talk between mother and daughter, it came through a note. Like any teenaged girl, Jamie Lynn was so scared to tell her mom that she couldn’t even tell her to her face. She wrote in a note that she was pregnant but that ‘everything was gonna be OK, mom’, gave it to her mom and asked her to go to her bedroom to read it. At first Lynne thought it was a joke, but when she realized that baby daddy Casey Aldridge could not even look her in the eye, she knew it was real. And Lynne is the first one to take blame for this, almost to the point that she takes on blame for all mothers in America, saying things like ‘What did I do? We just had this talk a month ago’ and on and on. Lynne admits that she was in shock, and even cried when she found out but knows that Jamie Lynn will be a great mom and is already a fabulous mom. Teenaged motherhood can not be easy, and when your every move is in the public eye, I am sure it is even more difficult. But the Spears girls prove over and over again that if nothing else, they are strong, and they are resilient. And while Lynne may have a tough time with guilt and blame for some of their choices and mistakes, she must know that they learned that from somewhere.

I tell ya, this Spears clan just can’t stay out of the news. Is it perhaps a little self inflicted? Hm, I wonder. We talked a little last week about Jamie Lynn and how her fiancé to be was in a little bit of hot water now that he has been caught in a cheating scandal. A cheating situation by the way that he involved himself in with an older woman while Jamie Lynn was pregnant with their daughter. And one would think that this was enough to kick the baby daddy to the curb, but not for Jamie Lynn. Nope, she is standing by fiancé Casey Aldridge despite the fact that he’s a cheating rat snake. Jamie Lynn has still been seen running errands in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana with her big heavy rock dangling from her hand, but has been in a little bit of hiding at her mom’s house ever since the chiquita Casey was messing with was splashed all over the cover of In Touch magazine. Not surprisingly, Jamie new nothing about the affair until the tabloid spilled the beans, and ever the boyfriend in trouble, Casey says that`s simply because it never happened. The folks in Kentwood however LOVE to dish about this one, and they are more than a little suspicious about Casey. Some of them have even added that this girlfriend of his is related to the Spears family in some odd way, making this scandal even a little weirder than it was to begin with. This girl in fact is no stranger to Jamie Lynn, and is the same girl that Jamie elbowed in the mouth last Spring. Yep, good ol times in the Deep South folks. Jamie believes Casey, and is chalking it up to tabloid gossip, but you know….they still haven`t tied the knot so there is hope that this girl will have some sense stunned into her sooner or later. Or not.
