Well it looks like things will be quiet in L.A. for a little bit, as Britney has jetted out to her other LA home this week, that in Kentwood, Lousiana. Britney has been ‘on call’ of sorts while waiting to hear about her sister’s pending delivery. The original plans were to charter a plane when Jamie Lynn was ready to go, however, a quick jet set out of LAX this morning via Delta Airlines may mean that Jamie Lynn’s little one is well on her way. While in Louisiana, Britney will be staying at the Louisiana Spears mansion known as ‘Serenity’. Some reports are that Britney will be in Kentwood for as long as a month, however OK! Magazine, the outlet that is the closest to Britney’s family reports that Britney will only be in town for a few days. While there, Britney will help Jamie Lynn out with new mommyhood, now there is a role model for you…but Britney will probably have better advice for Jamie Lynn than their own mother. *fingers crossed* Britney will also spend some time checking out Jamie Lynn’s and baby daddy’s Casey Aldridge’s new home about an hour and a half from Kentwood. The new abode is a $300,000 bungalow sitting on 5 acres of property and incudes a barn and a pool. My my, only $300 K? That’s practically the po-house for a Spears family member. How in the heck did the unemployed Jamie Lynn get dabloons for a brand new home? Ohhh I get it, never mind. In other Spears family news, the lesser known brother Bryan is making headlines as well as having been named one of People Magazine’s Hottest Bachelors.

Here is Jamie Lynn Spears and her then fiancé Casey Aldridge running some errands in Kentwood, Louisiana. Jamie Lynn is about ready to burst it seems with her ever-growing pregnant belly. It has been confirmed that Jamie and Casey are having a baby girl and they’ve been very busy preparing the tiny tots nursery for her. For months it seems, as nobody can talk about this girl without mentioning the nursery preparations. However, while the seemingly happy couple got engaged this past May so that Casey could make an honest woman out of his baby mama, the two have hit a rocky patch. Apparently there has been some non stop fighting, and as a result, Jamie Lynn has called off the wedding plans. Jamie and Casey just do not seem to get along, about anything, and fight about everything from what to name the baby to what to eat for dinner. At the same time, Jamie’s nerves may be on edge as Daddy Spears has come around to look after his youngest daughter now that Britney is doing better on her own. Jamie Spears has put his duties of overseeing Britney on hold to keep an eye on Jamie Lynn and help her with whatever she may need right now. But wait a second, isn’t Daddy getting paid to baby sit Britney? Is she going to give him vacation without pay? Or will he have to sue her for lost wages so he can take care of her sister. Hm. It sounds like though that with everything poor Jamie Lynn has going on right now, she may need Dad’s support. As for Jamie Lynn and Casey as a couple? Who knows…..they’re kids, anything could happen at this point.

Oh, the rumor mills are churning at lightning speed these days on this one, and this is JUST how the Spears girls like it, isn’t it? Yep, Jamie Lynn Spears is making no efforts to hide the fact that she’s got a huge rock on her hand. And even though she is wearing a big fat diamond, she’s still not confirming whether or not she’s engaged to Casey Aldridge, her baby daddy to be. Yes, one of his cousins HAS confirmed an engagement to Us Weekly, but you know, it’s the south. When cousins talk not many people listen. And I guess she thinks she’s foolin’ all of us by wearing her diamond on the wrong hand. But again, those Spears sisters aren’t exactly known for doing things by the book, are they? Cynthia Wolff, a celeb jeweler who designed Britney’s ring in 2004 talks a bit about the specs on Jamie Lynn’s bling bling. The diamond looks very round, almost 1980’s style, with a yellow gold band, and has the appearance of a wedding set with two different bands. Estimated retail value is somewhere in the $8 to $10 K range. So what’s a l’il 16 year old girl from the Deep South doin’ with a few K’s worth of bling on her *cough wrong* finger? Uh duh. That knocked up girl is gittin’ hitched! Let’s see how long it takes before she makes it *official*.

Is Jamie-Lynn supposed to be having twins, too? It seems to be the biological fad floating around Hollywood, what with JLo, Melissa Joan Hart, etc. Oops, scratch off Melissa’s name. Because there’s definitely no hiding it… a big sweatshirt wouldn’t be able to disguise the baby bump, not that Jamie-Lynn’d want to. She is now registered @ Babies ‘R Us and is seen here stocking up on baby supplies. I wonder what’s going to be bought up from her registry wish list? I think someone should buy her a clue.
