A-list couple Jennnifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are seen here looking like an ordinary couple on a Tuesday night going out for dinner, as they are given a rare night off from their twins to have a date. J-Lo and hubby Marc Anthony headed out to Luau in Beverly Hills, and this is something Jennifer must have enjoyed, given that she has been publicly noisy about the fact that she doesn’t get many breaks nowadays since the birth of her twins. But her rest and respite will be short, as she will be returning to the big screen next year to shoot the comedy flick ‘Plan B’, a movie about a woman who undergoes artificial insemination in order to counter her excessively noisy biological clock. And maternity and motherhood is definitely something relatable to Jennifer, so she will more than likely do a bang up job. And it may be her decision to go back to work that has put her marriage on death watch, or as friends say, ‘to a breaking point’. Given that J-Lo and Marc have only been married for four years, and are parents to twins, this is somewhat startling news. But the fact that both of them have been spotted out and about without their wedding rings on separate occasions is something that is saying a lot about the marriage, and about each of them individually. To top it off, Marc Anthony has been fuelling rumors that he’s a big fat cheater due to the fact that he’s been seen flirting with women on both sides of the coast in both New York and Las Vegas and has been publicly heard saying that Jennifer is ‘making me miserable’. As far as their friends are concerned, they say that the wedding rings ‘situation’ is not unintentional. They say ‘nothing Jennifer EVER does is without intention’ and that both of them are simply getting bored. Add this to the fact that Marc is being touted as a control freak, and is very controlling of Jennifer. A source recently told us Weekly:

He’s very, very controlling of her. The skirts aren’t as short. You don’t see so much of that booty anymore.

And it is the same source that says things have become strained to the point that Jennifer is hardly even talking to Marc anymore. She even has a smidge of resentment with him, considering that she works all day, and then does babies all night, and that Marc is even responsible for stalling her career a little bit because of the babies. Even though the couple renewed their wedding vows last month, many say that this as well was all for show, to quash rumors that their marriage is on the brink of death. And the dinner at Luaua, where they enjoyed meatballs, ribs, tiramisu and chocolate cake and walked away holding hands? Also a big show for the peeps that say they are OVAH. And just to get one more opinion in the mix, Marc’s publicist denies denies denies. So you have to know he’s a good publicist, because I think they are hired on the basis of them being able to say no. He says they are doing great as a couple and happier than ever. So what’s going on here? Well you know….we’ll find out one way or another soon enough.

Jennifer and Marc did a little bit of shopping during their stay in Milan for their baby twins Emme and Max. While they were here, Marc Anthony also received an honorary award from the Milan Town Council in recognition of his artistic achievements. Oh well, all in a days work for the Tinseltown elite, I suppose. And since then, some rumors have been floating around that Jennifer isn’t quite the mommy she should be and has been suffering from post partum depression and that she has been pulling more than a few diva-esque stunts while on American soil. I guess to get away from it all, Marc Anthony took her to Las Vegas to unwind and relax. While they were there, they caught the wedding fever, and even though they have already been married for four years, they decided to renew their wedding vows. The ceremony was small and simple, as are most in Vegas, and was witnessed by two of their friends and held at the Caesar’s Palace Forum Tower Penthouse at 3:25 A.M. on Sunday morning, after the couple had spent the night at Pure Nightclub. Their officiant was Reverend Steven Smith and sources close to the couple say that the wedding was a total spur of the moment thing, again, as most things are in Vegas. It was shortly after midnight on Sunday morning when they were enjoying themselves at Pure when they decided to go for it, and began making the arrangements. Congratulations once again to the happy couple, and let’s hope that this little getaway was just what Jennifer needed to kick her mojo back into her sweet happy self again.

Jennifer Lopez is seen here looking fabulous as ever at the Marc Jacobs runway show for New York Fashion Week. And by the looks of it here, you would never guess that she has been struggling with great difficulty with the new mommy thing. In fact, there is even speculation that she may have had some post partum depression to contend with after giving birth to her twins earlier this year. This news all boils down to a profile that was posted on a Tina Brown website known as The Daily Beast and it was a profile of Jennifer that was to appear in a major fashion magazine and highlighted the ins and outs of her struggles with motherhood. But as soon as Jennifer got wind of it, she snapped her perfectly manicured fingers and had the profile taken down, but not before we got a look at it. The profile discussed the dark days for Jennifer following the birth of her twins, Emme and Max, in February. She experienced a hormone rollercoaster that coupled with the recovery of a Caesarian section left her ‘weak’. By about ten days post delivery, she described herself as crying a lot because she was in pain, and couldn’t get up fast enough to feed the babies. She actually felt at one point that her children would know everyone else better before they had a chance to get to know her because she was not able to get to them as quickly as she’d like. Well you know, when you have a bevy of servants at your fingertips, there IS the slightest possibility that that could happen. But everyone knows how driven Jennifer is when it comes to doing a million things at once, parenting, dancing, designing, etc., so it is no surprise that she may put a little too much pressure on herself in the process. The profile on The Daily Beast also discussed earlier pre-baby issues that put Jennifer in not such a good light, like the one where she was said to have a nervous breakdown on the set of ‘Enough’ and had to be carried away by her bodyguard. And then there was a discussion about how Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony got $6 million for baby photos of their twins, and put that into a trust instead of giving it to charity like the big hearts in the Brangelinas did. And these were just a few tidbits that sought to bring down the J-Lo, but she quashed them as quickly as she could. You always have to wonder what spurs celebrity reaction. If it wasn’t true, or not a big deal, why would she be rushing to put a lid on it? Hm…

Here is Jennifer Lopez spotted as she was leaving the Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 runway show at New York Fashion Week this week. And by all accounts she seems to be in picture perfect health, doesn’t she? Walking well enough? Looking happy and healthy? Yep. So then what is the problem with Project Runway? There seems to be a bit of confusion as to what has been going on with Jennifer as she was slated to be a guest judge on the finalists’ show of Project Runway. And with one of the many hats that Jennifer is wearing she is also a fashion designer herself, so she was seen as a perfect choice. The finalist show was being held at Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week, and as we can see, it’s not like Jennifer couldn’t BE there. However come Friday morning, Heidi Klum announced that her much buzzed about appearance was going to be a no-go after all and that J-Lo wouldn’t be on the show. It was originally said that she cancelled due to a foot injury buuuutttt…..according to Jen’s peeps, there was no injury and that Jennifer was ‘all good’. Fortunately at the last minute Project Runway was able to scoop fashion icon extraordinaire Tim Gunn for the guest spot. And, in my humble opinion, a much better choice. Tim said he would be thrilled to do it and was happy to step in at the last minute and swore that he would be unbiased and impartial. Okay, all well and good, but what happened with Jennifer I wonder?

Here are Jennifer Lopez and her hubby Marc Anthony shopping for clothes for their little twins Emme and Max while out and about in Milan of all places. And, if you are wondering how the parents of baby twins manage to find the time for shopping excursions in Milan, you are probably guessing it has a lot to do with the celeb factor and the probability of a bevy of nannies on hand. Well yes, this is true for the most part, but J-Lo and Marc have had some issues with nannies it seems and from the sounds of it, J-Lo is ‘Boss Zilla’ when it comes to employing others to care for her kids. She spent the first 3 months of their life doting on them herself, and wanted to be hands on, but that novelty seems to have worn thin, as the nanny parade has started, and it sounds like she can’t keep help around. J-Lo has already lost TWO nannies in the short month that she’s begun hiring them. Her expectations it sounds are high. She wants one nanny to take care of both the twins, and expects 16 hour days 7 days a week. The only upside is that a nanny to J-Lo is making a sweet $2250 a week, which amounts to $117 K a year. Not bad for a babysitting job. Mind you, what are the chances of a nanny actually making it that long? Doesn’t sound good at this point….

Here is Jennifer Lopez a while back at the infamous Met Costume Institute Gala. She’s taking a quickie break from mommy duty to enjoy some downtime at the Gala with husband Marc Anthony. Jennifer has always been curvy, but even so you would never guess that only recently she gave birth to twins as she is looking nothing less than spectacular these days. Mind you, if you are wondering why you haven’t seen much of her at all, it’s because she is seriously concentrating on family right now. Both she and husband Marc have told their managers the next year is all about family, so Jennifer will not be working too much, nor will you see her as often. The couple had hired a nanny to help out with the newborn twins, but it is reported that the nanny quit after only a month on the job. Instead of hiring a new nanny, J-Lo dove in and went hands on full-time with twins Max and Emme. Poor girl must be exhausted, though she will never let us see her sweat.

Here we see Jennifer Lopez heading out of a beauty salon in New York City on Friday. And you would never guess that this first time mommy has twins barely a month old, as she heads out of the salon look super slim and super fabulous. You’d also never guess from the collected smile on her face that she has recently been criticized by Parents magazine. J-Lo appeared in the magazine with pictures of the twin’s nursery, and it seems some folks at Parents magazine got a little too judgemental when it comes to J-Lo’s decorating tastes. Parents posted on their blog that the twin’s nursery was home to a number of baby safety hazards. Hazards cited were bows and canopies around the cribs, and not having window guards on the windows. A spokesperson from Boo Boo Busters, a child safety organization, is saying that J-Lo’s babies are far too young for the parents to worry too much about things like that, but when they get to sitting up stage, J-Lo may want to rethink a few issues in the nursery. It never fails to amaze me though how quick folks will be to jump down the throat of the celebrity parent. I mean, we DO know of parents who don’t even use car seats on a regular basis. And mind you, this same magazine didn’t seem to have a problem shooting a pic of J-Lo feeding the tykes, in an evening gown. Because we know how realistic that is. But you know how it is, there will always be somebody slamming somebody in Hollywood.

The next season of Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s is in full swing, and Kim is making the most of it by promoting it like crazy. She showed up at TRL yesterday to promote the show and to make sure the world knew she was giving out a little J-Lo love. Yes, Kimmy is a big fan of J-Lo which only makes sense. Nothing unusual with the D-listers kissing some A-lister ass when their reality show starts a new season. Kim had a chat with TV Guide as well about the new season, and made a point of mentioning that it ‘wasn’t scripted’ that things ‘just happen’. Well, you’d hope so, since it’s a REALITY show. She also told TV Guide that she did Playboy recently because she wanted to promote a healthy body image to young women today, that you don’t have to be a stick figure. Yep, I am sure a naked photo spread was all to inspire women, and nothing more. That’s our Kim. Well, if we can count on her for one thing, it’s definitely consistency.
