Here is John Mayer arriving at his home while driving his girlfriend Jennifer Aniston’s Range Rover. And yes, this seems to be one relationship that is not sizzling out any time soon. In fact, John may have fallen in love well before we all knew about how hot and heavy they were. John has been reported as telling his ex girlfriend, Minka Kelly, that he was sorry for how things ended with them, but ‘I’m really in love’. This was not long after, while in a relationship with Minka he wondered out loud to her that he really didn’t get the ‘Jennifer Aniston thing’ in terms of, why men were crazy about her. Guess he has clarified that with himself now, and I am sure Minka doesn’t have too many good things to say about it, or her. But I suppose if you are an ex of a man that is now dating Jennifer Aniston, some bitterness is sure to apply. Jen and John have talked about getting matching tattoos, to match Jen’s heart symbol, but John may not be in love as he says, as he just wants to go with matching ‘J’s’. Because nothing says love like getting your own initial tattooed on yourself. Go figure. Hard to tell what is going on with these two in terms of seriousness, but the fact that they are still going at all says a lot in this town.

Here are the J-J’s hanging out not that long ago at the Waverly Inn in New York, to meet for a romantic dinner. This is way back when, maybe all of two weeks ago, when the couple was working very hard to keep their personal life out of the loop from us. They arrived and departed at the Waverly separately, or tried to, but still were snapped by our photographer friends. And only two weeks later it seems that these two are ready to profess their undying love for each other in permanent form through matching body tattoos. Jennifer is no stranger to tattoos with a heart etching on her stomach, and she wants to have a second heart etched in the same area for John. And she’d like him to follow suit. John, ever the commitment boy, is a little hesitant and would prefer they both just get the letter “J” etched instead. Since this is both of their first initials, I don’t see how romantic this can be, but it certainly is an easy out for John should anything sour arise between the two. Jennifer however is all gung ho about the tattoo, and about their relationship, having recently brought John into the Friends fold at a dinner party with her best friend Courtney Cox. John was nervous, naturally, since Courtney is known to be a little protective of her little J, however the event went smoothly. And since Jennifer has made the bold move of commitment, perhaps its time now for John to step up and venture past some matching J’s. Yep. Nothing says love like a tatoo with your OWN initial on it.

I am very curious to know why these two are even trying to hide it. Everyone knows there’s some loving going on between John Mayer and Jennifer Aniston last night, however, they still keep trying to do the canoodling under covers thing. Why?? During the day yesterday, John was spotted doing the SoHo solo thing and getting some errands done, and Jennifer was nowhere to be seen. The two came out in full force together for a cutesy romantic evening at the Waverly Inn last night. This evening is a follow up to their much talked about romantic weekend in Miami last weekend. When their evening at the Waverly was winding down, the couple tried to ‘not make things obvious’ by leaving the restaurant separately? What?? Point please? Nonetheless, all of the obligatory paps were around to ensure that yes, both of them were spotted, albeit separately, we all know they are very much together. And expect to hear more on this, because Jennifer’s movie ‘Marley and Me’ is moving to Philly, the City of Brotherly Love, to continue filming. Compared to Miami, that’s right next door to her newfound honey-bee. Aww….how long before they are engaged? It IS Hollywood after all.

One thing you can always count on in Cosmopolitan magazine is their annual Fun Fearless Male of the Year award. This year John Mayer was honored in the fun fearless male of the year event where Carmen Electra was one of the attendees to honor these men. The event was held at the Cipriani in New York City this past Monday, and Carmen was looking prettier than ever. In other Carmen news, she has officially renounced any further work with reality television shows. Carmen loves reality shows but has spent more than a little time working them. She has appeared as judge on the 2003 series Dance Fever, and also did the reality series “Till Death do Us Part: Carmen & Dave” a sort of series that closely resembled the Jessica Simpson/Nick Lachey Newlyweds series. Carmen still enjoys reality TV however, but would much rather TiVo them and watch them rather than participate. And since her reality show with her husband to be Dave Navarro lasted only slightly less longer than her marriage to Dave which ended in 2006, maybe she’s got a good gameplan there since reality shows don’t do much for her. However, if she found a good series like she did with Baywatch, you never know, she just may make a comeback.

It looks like absence made the hearts grow fonder for Cameron Diaz and John Mayer. Sources are saying the two are back together. They were initially linked way back when in August and something sort of fizzled out. Just recently they were spotted at the L.A. Sunset Marquis Hotel. And not just spotted, Cameron went into John’s room and wasn’t seen for about three hours. Apparently afterward she was seen with something termed ‘goofy grin’. Well, it is Cameron, she does look like that a lot, however, this could mean some sparks are re-ignited. Not just sparks either, John has recently confessed that he’s looking for a deeper commitment, in the wedding ring kind of way. In fact, he’s been heard saying he actually obsesses about the fact. Hm, what do you think? I’d think they make a cute couple. Though in Hollywood, I would advise against marriage. That will kill the relationship for sure.
