No pun intended, because apparently she doesn’t have a sex life, she just plays one on TV. Or the big screen now since SATC has moved off the tube ways. But here she is one of Sex and the City’s most sexual ladies seen a the premiere of “Did You Hear About the Morgans?” held at the Ziegeld Theatre in New York City this week. And though she may be one of the most talked about SATC girls, because of her very active sex life and her no bones about it approach (no pun intended there either) her love life in real life is dryer than you may think. So it is no wonder Kim Cattrall acts a sex scene better than anyone. She’s had a lot of practice at pretending to enjoy herself. She talked rather candidly with the UK Daily Express about it.

“Most of my life hasn’t been very fulfilling sexually. At one point in my mid-30s, I thought, ‘Maybe I’m just not a very sexual woman. I play women who are sexually aware, but maybe I’m not going to be particularly active.’”

No!!! Illusions! Shattering! If there have been high points in her sex life since that depressing revelation, now is certainly not one of them. Since splitting from her boyfriend of five years, 23 years younger Alan Wyse, Kim is single and not looking.

“I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to adjust. Whenever you step out for a drink or dinner, whoever you’re with becomes your latest beau, which is a bit of a laugh for my gay friends.”

It’s not that Kim hasn’t been treated to an amuse-bouche for her sexual appetite. Her love interest in May 27′s Sex and the City 2: Drying Up and the Desert is a 27-year-old B.C. underwear model named Noah Mills. But it sounds like she’s waiting to be swept off her feet.

“I’m a serial monogamist, not shy, but it takes a lot for me to initiate anything. My preference is a clean-shaven man who smells fresh and clean.”

And you think that wouldn’t be too much to ask for. And yet here she is.

Or at least…they WILL be, come May 28 which is when the long anticipated sequel to Sex and the City movie will hit the big screen. And though we alllllll know how infamous Sarah Jessica Parker has become as a result of this hit series and hit movie run-on, there are the other women in the Sex and the City group that are enjoying their share of not so new found fame as well. Here we have the sex siren Samantha spotted on set of the movie sequel, surrounded by two burly bodyguards as she exits her trailer to head to the set of the sequel movie. And one look at a picture like this you would never guess that this lady in the micro mini is sitting at 53 years of age, but though she likes her fame as Samantha, Kim Cattrall says that Samantha is not all that SHE is cracked up to be.The 53-year-old actress is preparing for her new stage role in Noel Coward’s Private Lives in London’s West End and has said there is no connection between her on-screen character Samantha and herself. We all love each woman in The City dearly, but we need to be reminded that, they’re real people too. Kim is adamant about this saying she isn’t like her character of Samantha. She said to UK newspaper Daily Mail:

“I don’t think it’s me. There’s a clear separation. I can’t relate to it in the way other people do. People used to ask me to come and speak to women about sex issues and relationships and women running businesses. That’s not what I do – I am none of those things. It’s a character! I got an award and joked, ‘This is what I got for sleeping with so many men.’”

And an award well deserved we must say, because if Kim isn’t anything like Samantha at all, then her acting bones are much sharper than many have given her credit for. But yet, we still will count the days to the Sex and the City sequel and look forward to seeing Samantha…and her friends…return to the big screen.

Shortly after Sarah Jessica Parker stepped off the red carpet for the world premiere of ‘Sex and the City’, she enjoyed some me time in the hip streets of London. Here is taking advantage of some down time in London as she heads over to the trendy Annabelle restaurant to try out some authentic English fair. And as per usual, Sarah Jessica is allllll about looking fabulous. She is dressed to kill in a very simple ensemble of a strapless black cocktail dress that she paired with beaded necklace, black pumps, and an animal print bag. And perhaps she had a cocktail to pair with her cocktail dress as well. The heat between Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker has been making headlines for years, and it seems the two were not able to keep it under wraps at the premiere. So much so that, unless public relations stipulated, the two were kept at bay from each other the whole night. Kim avoided any kind of contact or conversation with her on-screen BFF and even left the premiere early to have dinner with Mario Cantone, the character of Anthony in the movie. Awww….so sad. Almost makes you not so jealous of the happy foursome, doesn’t it.

Now you know that I take no pleasure in revealing Kim’s heavily dimpled thighs, but someone has to do it! Sex and the City’s Samantha was snapped by photogs while filming scenes on Malibu beach. She’s carrying a pair of gold stilettos in her left hand while sporting a pair of aqua blue goggles for what purpose I still don’t know… it must be fashion since she’s definitely not swimming laps. Even with these eye catching accessories, Kim was unable to draw the attention away from her bad case of cellulite. Not even her huge bikini bottoms (granny style) could hide it! I don’t know about you but I’m thinking that maybe the film should be dubbed No Sex and the City.
