Here is Audrina Patridge from The Hills leaving the Crown bar the other evening after enjoying a night out with some girlfriends. Notably, her former BF Lauren Conrad was not amongst the gaggle of girls. And yes, we’ve all been looking for some sign of a truce between the two ever since the season finale of The Hills, where it appeared that Lauren’s BF Lauren Bosworth, AKA “Lo”, was coming between the roomies. Fans were left hanging and are still wondering what is up with these two. Friends or foes? Who knows, in fact, it seems that even they aren’t sure what’s up. Lauren Conrad describes the friendship as “tense” and it is more than a little obvious that the two have kept their distance at public appearances. But both Laurens have been trying to reach out to Audrina. Yes, word is that Audrina is still living in the guest house of the home she shares with Lo and Lauren, but they don’t see much of her. And they may not, a move on Audrina’s part was hinted on the last episode, and they still aren’t sure if that is going to be the case. Lauren Conrad on the other hand hopes things work out and is staying positive. Audrina feels the same, and doesn’t want to see the friendship end. I guess we just have to tune in to the next season to see the real dirt, huh? Never fails….

Here is Lauren Conrad arriving in New York City to attend her usual whirlwind social calendar. One of the events on Lauren’s list was the MTV Upfronts party at the Nokia Theatre where she joined stars such as Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake. And unfortunately for Lauren, she met up with a little bit of drama that night, and no, it wasn’t because her arch-rival Heidi made her life miserable. Lauren had the unfortunate experience to run into a psycho fan who had a little too much of the sauce that night, and had been denied access to the party. He verbally accosted Lauren when she came out of the party screaming insults and cursing at her, and even tossing some racial slurs. One of Lauren’s heroes, sorry, male friends, came to her rescue and tried to round some mates up to pound him out, but the guy was too drunk to even fight back. Lauren’s boys took care of him, and sources even said that he continued the beating by banging his head against a telephone pole for a few minutes. Ew. Well I guess running into your usual psycho is the cost of fame, good thing tho that it ended well, for Lauren at least. Things could have been a lot worse.

Once again we have another star studded event with the LG Electronics Launch of the Scarlet HD TV Series. Though this event was more cocktail and less red carpet, many of Hollywood’s finest showed up at the Pacific Design Center on Tuesday night to make their PR mark with LG. Among the celebs attending were (as shown here) Tila Tequila, Natassia Malthe, Lauren Conrad, Kristin Vallari, Kelly Brook, and yes, even the Speidi’s showed up. Nice of them to grace LG with their presence. Isn’t it funny though whenever you put Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag in a room together that the *not so mousy* brunette always outshines the Barbie Doll?
