You know how it is in Hollywood, when you don’t have the talent or network to start your own fashion or fragrance line, besides accidentally leaking a sex tape, the only thing you can do to get attention is to write a tell-all book. Just ask Lynn Spears. And such is the case of Samantha Ronson. I mean, look at her, who is going to buy clothing from a fashion line under her name? Riiiigggghhht. So now she’s hot on the publicity trail to write a tell-all book chronicling her relationship with Lindsay Lohan. I have to wonder, is this to just rile up the ‘future in-laws’, to get some attention, or does she seriously want to pour her heart out in print? Hmmm…..Since nobody can seem to come to a conclusion as to whether the relationship between her and Lindsay Lohan is actually real or a publicity stunt in itself, it’s hard to say here. Samantha has reportedly been dating Lindsay since as long ago as last year, and the two are also supposedly playing house together and are rarely seen apart, even when they are working. But E! Online seems to be under the impression from a friend of Samantha’s that Samantha is desperate to write a book about not only her story and her life, but about her life with Lindsay. Perhaps she thinks people will take the pair more seriously and stop calling them a publicity stunt. If this is the case, I think the book has the best intentions and I applaud her for it. But as you can probably imagine, Bible thumper Daddy Lohan is furious about the whole thing. He says he’s ‘shut up about this long enough’ and thinks that Samantha is just using his daughter for attention. He thinks nobody knew who Sam even was until Lilo came onto the scene, but um, while I am not a ‘fan’ so to speak of Sam’s, I beg to differ there, as would many of the folks who do claim to be fans. Michael Lohan hopes that Lindsay’s eyes will be opened to Sam’s ulterior motives and realize who is truly using her and who is truly real in Lindsay’s life. He has also even accused Sam of passing drinks under the table to Lindsay and compromising her sobriety. Perhaps Michael needs to remember that Lindsay is a grown woman responsible for her OWN sobriety. And as for him shutting up about this long enough, that’s laughable since he has been put on record SEVERAL times since this relationship went public spewing one response or another. Whether the book will materialize or not is anyone’s guess, but if it does, and with the right intentions, again, more power to her.

Yes, there comes a time in every relationship when it is decided that you either move forward and don’t move together at all. And Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were seen leaving a house in Los Angeles last week, together, and with matching Louis Vuitton luggage. Their destination of choice? Samantha’s home town of Miami, where a little shindig with the Ronson clan was set up for everyone to have a happy meet and greet of Samantha’s new love. By all accounts it went well, I mean, who wouldn’t love a rehab junkie with a criminal record for their daughter, and it seems the family has opened their arms to Lindsay in a way that directly contrasts the stark denial still coming from the Lohan camp. The two didn’t hide their affection at all, a trait that is becoming their trademark, and they stayed in the Delano Hotel in Miami in between visits with the family. ‘Onlookers’ say everyone had a great time and everyone seemed extremely comfortable with the whole situation. Lindsay was well liked by everyone, and their ‘love’ was apparently palpable. The two left with sighs of relief, and undying love I’m sure, that a meet the parents went so well. Well, the couple HAS been in the press for about a century now, so there has been plenty of time to get comfortable with the notion. Aw shucks, we’re so happy for them. Kiss Kiss! Group hug!!

And Daddy Lohan has made no bones about how Christian he is and how he wants his family to grow up all proper and what not. So when it comes to a possible lesbian wedding for his oldest daughter, Lindsay, Michael gets a little hot under the collar. He says that first of all the wedding isn’t the real deal, and was just made up by Internet bloggers as he hasn’t heard anything about a wedding from Lindsay herself. He also says that even if it were true, he wouldn’t be walking her down the aisle at all for it, as he’s pretty sure she is well aware of his Christian standards and she just wouldn’t ask. So much for not being estranged, Daddy dearest. As far as their relationship goes, he gives the token celebrity parent response “I just want her to be healthy, and happy”. But we’re pretty sure that the heaven he wants her to end up in doesn’t include DJ’s or lesbians. So Mr. Lohan is probably in denial about his daughter’s hot and heavy relationship, but let’s remember, mommy dearest was as well. If the relationship doesn’t fizzle out, he will probably get over it in time as do most parents…

Despite the fact that everyone in the world, but themselves, have labeled these two as an official couple, they make no attempt to hide their growing romance. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson snuck off to New York City for a few days over the weekend, and romance was alive and well in the air for these two. Shopping and romantic dinners were the only thing on the agenda, and it sounds like they made the most of their time. They were seen here melting some serious plastic in SoHo as they came out of the Ralph Lauren boutique, and were also spotted at the grand House of Chanel as well. And from the sounds of it, it was all on Lindsay’s tab as she desperately tried to clean up Sam’s act a bit. Lilo was seen picking out clothes for Sam, and paying for them as well. And, by the looks of Sam, one can see why. She just always strikes me as having the look of a frat boy that forgot to shower for about a week, and seriously, LOSE THE HAT. But between shopping expos, the two were also spotted having romantic dinner’s at Gemma and also at The Waverly Inn where a lot of eye gazing apparently took place. And yes, Sam wore the hat on both those occasions. What is WITH that??

Here is Lindsay Lohan on the set of Ugly Betty, as her role for the hit sit come has been reprised thanks to her smashing success with it last season. Yes, sometimes the girl can actually act. But despite her heavy back to work schedule between Ugly Betty and her new movie Labor Pains, the thing people are still talking about most is Lindsay’s relationship with Sam Ronson. I am still not convinced that these two are pulling one heckuva publicity stunt, I mean, we are talking about a girl who REALLY needs headlines that don’t include the word ‘rehab’. So either they are acting it out beautifully, or there is something very real happening there. They spend every second they can together, with their fingers laced at every opportunity. And since the 22 thousand dollar birthday gift of a ring that Lindsay received from Sam, the two have been living together and virtually inseparable. It even sounds like Lilo’s mom Dina has finally decided that it’s ok. She says she loves Sam, and that she thinks the two are great and that as long as her daughter is happy and healthy ‘it is what it is’. Huh. So if even mom has accepted it, why haven’t the two come out and made this official Hollywood style with an announcement of sorts? According to Lindsay’s reps, its because Lindsay wants to ‘keep her private life private’. Oh ok. Well then maybe she should stop canoodling all over the girl every time a camera is around. And maybe she should remember that she’s Lindsay Lohan. And privacy is not exactly in abundance in her world.

It sounds like Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan are all about the PR coo right now, as waves are still being made from Lindsay’s birthday party last week. It is no secret now that Sam and Lilo are a couple, they are living together and playing house and are the only two on the planet that haven’t publicly acknowledged the fact. To note, they aren’t denying it anymore either. The girls spent Lilo’s birthday shopping and hanging out in Beverly Hills before the big bash, and were even seen heading into Cartier at one point. My guess was a Cartier love bracelet went on the tab, however as wrong as I was, I was close. Samantha has given Lindsay a commitment ring for her birthday, a ring that comes to the tune of $22, 347. I guess 1K for every year for Lilo…or something. While Lindsay is the ‘breadwinner’ of the little family, Sam still isn’t doing too shabby, and gifted her love with a ring symbolizing their commitment to each other. It’s not an engagement ring, but just that, a token of their commitment and who knows where this is going to go. Lindsay hasn’t dated any men since she started hanging with Sam, and in the past few months a day has not gone by where they’ve been apart outside of work, so….who knows. Is it love? Well they say it is for Jen and John and even THEY haven’t taken that step yet (we think!).
