The writer’s strike is really bringing out the celebs this season as the streets of New York are abuzz with the sound of fashion, fabric, runway, and designers. The Tommy Hilfiger show was held at Avery Fisher Hall in the Lincoln Center on Thursday, and celeb spottings included Maggie Gyllenhaal, Helena Christensen, and actress Julianne Moore. And even though she may appear sweet and innocent, Maggie Gyllenhaal is far from, at least in the roles she is taking on. You may remember her in ‘Secretary’ where she succumbed to her employer’s discipline. You can also see Maggie’s less than sweet side in her upcoming movie short ‘Speechless’. ‘Speechless’ is a 3 and a half minute film centering around 3 girls who end up in the same hotel room to find out they are all dating the same man. Doesn’t sound like much of a plot, does it? Well….maybe not. But the term ‘lesbian orgy’ has been used to describe this film on more than one occasion, so make your own judgments from that.
