Nick Lachey, 33, got slapped with a “fix it” ticket on the spot while driving in the San Fernando Valley with his girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, 26, following in her own car close behind. “Hey, settle down guy,” said the stone-faced cop, “this isn’t for speeding, it’s for your [dark] window tint.” Lachey acknowleged that his tint was “limo,” but that he needed it because of his “celebrity” status. The cop wasn’t buying what Nick was schlepping, and must not have needed a signed Nick Lachey CD or Newlyweds DVD.

Former MTV veejay Vanessa Minnillo is becoming bicoastal and moving into Nick Lachey’s house in Beverly Hills, PageSix.com reports. Sources say she’s trying to become an actress and focus on gigs in Los Angeles. However, this could pose problems with her job as New York correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. Her rep didn’t return calls.
