Well it seems like Hollywood’s starlets are learning a thing or two from the ever so elusive Jennifer Aniston when it comes to keeping us guessing about their love lives. Gone are the days for Kate Hudson when her latest fling and thing were all over the tabloids with her mooney eyes, now she is just keeping things under wraps and forcing us to come to our own conclusions. And here she is at the recent Cartier 100th Anniversary in America celebration looking stunning as ever in a cut out dress that very few women could get away with.

But this is our Kate, one minute she’s trugging the streets of New York looking uber veg mode and casual but fabulous, the next she is gracing the red carpets in the glamorous style that we have come to know and love with this girl. But did she have a mystery man for this outstanding night on the town? No of course she would not go so far as to come to a public event with her latest thing, because if she did, how else could she keep us guessing? The last we heard on Kate and romance was that she and Owen Wilson had finally made one last round with the on again off again thing, and this last round was so final in fact that they were determined to finally make things permanent and plan a secret June wedding. And oh how the bells rang and the birds sang with that one, as we ALL know that she truly belongs with Owen.

So what then is the deal with her and A-Rod? Yes, though she may be elusive, she does have this funny knack of bringing boyfriends and flings back from the dead, and we are hearing wind that she and A Rod have started something up again. Way back when, in the Fall to be precise, Kate was spotted canoodling with A-Rod, but it seemed to be a come and go thing. And now, we are hearing NOTHING of this so called secret Owen wedding, but that she and A-Rod are back in the fling thing again. But the New York Post is reporting that she and A Rod were “macking out” at a New York bar this past Friday, and that this all began after she sat in the coveted box and watched A-Rod in a Yankees game. The afterparty for the flirty pair continued at the Tex Mex bar the Mustang Grill where they seemingly couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

But does two spotting for a flirty pair make for a relationship? In Hollywood, and in the Hudsonwood, one would seem to think so as she seems to cling on to the flavor of the day when Owen isn’t around. But Madonna’s ex? Who knows. One thing we do know for sure is that if we find Kate and A-Rod shacking up at the cottage in Muskoka, Canada, then they too will probably publish news of a secret wedding. Just ask a few of her other exes who have made it to the coveted relationship status of cottage guest – Eric Lindross, Lance Armstrong, and the list goes on and on. And all of this going on while Kate goes public with Page Six stating that she is looking for a new baby daddy, as she’d like to give her little guy Ryder a brother or sister. Perhaps it has been so long since she actually HAD a baby that she has forgotten that one needs to stick around with one man in order for THAT dream to transpire. Not sure what this gal is up to, but one thing I DO know and that is that my money and my hopes are still on Owen. Let’s see what happens here…

The always glamorous Kate Hudson is seen here in an absolutely gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown as she attends the world premiere of the comedy “Bride Wars” in New York City this year. This is one girl that has managed both a very sexy girl next door look on her most casual days, and an oh so glamorous red carpet look on any given moment. What is it about this girl? Besides her infectious and naturally beautiful smile, and her down to the bone sweetness, it is difficult to say, but you may want to ask Owen Wilson what makes this girl so spectacular. Yes, this is one man that probably knows this girl better than anybody, as he has been in and out of her life for many years now. Kate and Owen have a notorious relationship that is on again and off again and has been for so many times that we question if even they knew what they were doing. And there are couples that seemed destined to make the same mistakes over and over again and keep coming back to each other, and then there are couples that just seem destined period. And my thoughts are that this is one of those star crossed situations. Have you ever seen the two of them together? They glow in a way that only the truly star crossed can. And now it seems they have finally decided to give up the charade and get married. It’s kind of strange actually given that Kate barely thought five minutes before she married whats his name (*cough* Chris Robinson) and had little Ryder, so we are thinking that with Owen, Kate has given this some serious consideration. Though both have been with other people during their off again moments, they have finally made their way back to each other, and we hope this time it is for good. And they seem to think it is. This time they decided to be a little quieter about it so that the media wouldn’t interfere in their relationship, and snuck away in February for a little romantic holiday in France. And you have to know that if France isn’t going to make two people fall in love for good, then nothing will. Well it seems the French magic worked for this pair, as during their vacation they decided to make things permanent and have announced that they will be getting married in a quiet ceremony this summer. I find it hard to believe that Kate Hudson will do anything quietly, but even that note makes one believe that this is more about the marriage, and less about the wedding here. They haven’t even worried too much about flashy engagement rings or a big hoopla at all. And since both of them certainly have the means at their disposal to get as flashy as they want, they just simply can’t be bothered. All they care about is never being apart from each other again. Awwww….collective group hug. Where the quiet ceremony will take place remains to be seen, but speculations at this point offer two options. They may get married at Kate’s mom’s house, Goldie Hawn, in her little home in Aspen, or they may also get married in Hawaii which is where Owen’s fabulous abode is. And as for wedding dresses, with friends in her Rolodex along the lines of Stella McCartney and Christian Dior it is possible to say that anything goes here. Kate did spend some time in the Dior house while they were in France, and is said to be looking for something ‘simple and flowing’ so anything is likely at this point. I have to say that I hope this story is not one to be filed in the rumor mill, and I have ALWAYS felt that these two were meant to be. Ever since Owen’s tragic suicide attempt, one that reportedly happened over one of his breakups with Kate, I have always felt that these two truly were meant to be together. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for these two as we wish them all the best for a beautiful life together.

Is this woman not aware of the fact that there are more than three men in Hollywood….or New York even where she lives with her son Ryder? Apparently not, and for those of you that had bets that she’d be trying to hook back up with Owen Wilson before the summer is out, well, you may have earned yourself some coin. Maybe in this case the third time will be the charm with this one, as Kate is reportedly attempting to reconcile with her ex boyfriend twice removed Owen Wilson yet again. And how this will go over, who knows. She broke his heart once, shortly before his tragic suicide attempt, reconciled, then smashed it to bits again to take a whirl with his buddy Lance Armstrong. Since her split with Lance, she has also been linked to yet another ex boyfriend, hockey star Eric Lindross. When that didn’t work out, she started ‘bombarding’ Owen with text messages and phone calls. Owen’s response? A little ‘frosty’ which is a heckuva lot nicer than some men would be, so I give him some props. However, perhaps they truly are fated to be together since he is actually considering a reconciliation. Owen definitely felt betrayed by Kate in both breakups, but it seems now his big ol heart has caved for the girl and he’s acting all sweet on her again. Owen’s friends (and I’m sure the rest of the world) are a little concerned, because he apparently genuinely cares for the girl and her serial dating always leaves him crushed. Well, I have to say, as much as I hate how she’s treated him, I have always loved these two as a couple, they DO seem perfectly matched. So let’s hope *fingers crossed* Kate has made up her mind for good this time.

Kate Hudson is brightening up the red carpet here at the premiere of Fools Gold at Vue Cinema London not that long ago. At the time of this premiere, Kate Hudson was heavily back in the throes of her on-again off-again relationship with actor Owen Wilson. The two have been linked for two years now, and in January were being seen together quite a bit until their public announcement that they were back to ‘on-again’. And now, they are keeping up with their normal patterns and have decided to call it ‘off-again, this time probably for good’. The past few weeks the two have been fighting constantly, and Owen’s melancholy mood swings were said to clash with Kate’s high energy and good spirits. The two seem mutually happy with the split and will remain good friends, but it didn’t take long for Kate to rally up in the dating game. She’s been spotted quite a bit with Lance Armstrong, and just spend the weekend in Austin with this seven time Tour de France winner. They were dining at exclusive restaurants and spent Saturday with Lance’s three children. No word yet on how serious they are, but if she is getting kiddy time, chances are Lance is thinking seriously here.

According to Life & Style, Owen Wilson did a little shopping for drug paraphernalia last Thursday in Venice, California:

“He was friendly,” an insider tells the mag. “Owen spent 20 minutes in the Green House Smoke Shop browsing the pipes and bongs. He bought one of the biggest bongs and spent almost $300 on it.”

Owen seemed concerned about not being spotted. “He was worried that someone might have seen him coming out,” the insider says. “He hid behind a FedEx truck for 30 seconds before darting to his car!”

hmm… well, I don’t think anyone saw him, do you? Owen gave us all a nasty scare last August with his alleged suicide attempt, and he’s apparently been struggling off and on with substance abuse. I hope Heath Ledger’s passing doesn’t cause him to have a relapse. Do you think that it could be peer pressure? OK, not like back in high school where all the “cool kids” were doing it, but maybe he just needs to pick up a new lifestyle for like a year or so to clear his thoughts. Oh, and he should totally ditch his celebrity pot head friends like Woody Harrelson, and pick up a new in say… em, Helsinki? I’ve always wanted to go there… mostly because I just like the name.

It seems that the Jessica Simpson thing was just a fling, or even perhaps nothing at all, as we see here is his new girlfriend Le Call a supermodel, relaxing in Maui. Le Call spent some time on Monday chilling on the beach with a friend of hers. Le Call and her friend spent some time going back and forth between suntanning and cooling off in the waters. Though Owen was around, he was did not join the girls on the beach, and this picture of Owen is from the previous day when he enjoyed some waves and some surfing. It’s great to see Owen doing so well after his suicide scare earlier this year.

Here we are seeing the ever so graceful Texan performing artist Jessica Simpson perform a falling routine, but in this case, it was more than a little unplanned. The fall occurred outside the doors of the 11th Annual ACE Awards the other night when Jessica’s heel got caught on a grid mark outside the event. Nothing better than a wipeout to clinch the deal on a red carpet entrance. However it looks like Jessica was able to laugh it off because I mean, at this point, what else CAN you do. And in other news, last we heard of Jessica she was canoodling with Owen Wilson at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. The pair have since been seen getting cozy at the New York Waverly Inn where she was doin’ the ol’ Texan laughy flirt and hair touchy thing. Sources say Owen was very charming. Too soon to tell yet if this is going to be an ongoing thing, but you know, in Hollywood once a couple has been spotted together TWICE they are planning the wedding and retaining the future divorce lawyers. A friend of Owen says she makes him laugh, which I guess considering all he has gone through is a good thing. Yup, she makes us laugh too, and it’s not because we think she has intelligent wit. (that’s me, pointing upwards to the pictures)

Well there are rumors swirling that Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson are enjoying each other’s company. Funny, cuz, I always took him to be a smart man. This is almost as wierd as her guest hosting “The View”. What, is she going to ‘Smart School’ in her spare time? At any rate, the two were spotted on a date in Santa Monica on Sunday eating at the Huntley Hotel before they retired to his home in Malibu. Word is he couldn’t keep his hands off her and that this is just an extension of an initial chemistry that started on October 16 when they filmed a video for Willie Nelson together. I believe the term used was ‘sparks flying’. This is going to take some getting used to for me, hopefully this is just a short-lived thing while he travels his journey of healing.
