Here we are seeing the ever so graceful Texan performing artist Jessica Simpson perform a falling routine, but in this case, it was more than a little unplanned. The fall occurred outside the doors of the 11th Annual ACE Awards the other night when Jessica’s heel got caught on a grid mark outside the event. Nothing better than a wipeout to clinch the deal on a red carpet entrance. However it looks like Jessica was able to laugh it off because I mean, at this point, what else CAN you do. And in other news, last we heard of Jessica she was canoodling with Owen Wilson at the Huntley Hotel in Santa Monica. The pair have since been seen getting cozy at the New York Waverly Inn where she was doin’ the ol’ Texan laughy flirt and hair touchy thing. Sources say Owen was very charming. Too soon to tell yet if this is going to be an ongoing thing, but you know, in Hollywood once a couple has been spotted together TWICE they are planning the wedding and retaining the future divorce lawyers. A friend of Owen says she makes him laugh, which I guess considering all he has gone through is a good thing. Yup, she makes us laugh too, and it’s not because we think she has intelligent wit. (that’s me, pointing upwards to the pictures)

Well there are rumors swirling that Owen Wilson and Jessica Simpson are enjoying each other’s company. Funny, cuz, I always took him to be a smart man. This is almost as wierd as her guest hosting “The View”. What, is she going to ‘Smart School’ in her spare time? At any rate, the two were spotted on a date in Santa Monica on Sunday eating at the Huntley Hotel before they retired to his home in Malibu. Word is he couldn’t keep his hands off her and that this is just an extension of an initial chemistry that started on October 16 when they filmed a video for Willie Nelson together. I believe the term used was ‘sparks flying’. This is going to take some getting used to for me, hopefully this is just a short-lived thing while he travels his journey of healing.

Those of you that are Owen Wilson fans will be happy to hear he seems to be on the mend. He’s no longer under hospital care and seems to be coming out of the woodwork a little bit more after his horrifying and very sad suicide attempt. These kinds of things of course take a while to reach full recovery, but he recently spent some time at the beach with his former girlfriend Carolina Cerisola. He seems to be working through his problems in a healthy manner and was even reported to smile at a sunrise. As always, we wish nothing but the best for Owen and look forward to having him make us laugh once again, and hopefully that is sooner than later!

The story is just so sad it is heartbreaking. We have Owen Wilson, the jilted lover, desperately pining for a beautiful princess (whom he dumped, probably due to commitment issues). His heart has been smattered into so many pieces he just can’t bear to pick them all up and looks for a way to escape the pain…. enter Kate Hudson. We all know she still cares about him. Well maybe not in that way, but she does. As soon as she heard about his suicide attempt she was a wreck on set. And since then she has been trying to reach out to him, or touch base in some manner but the Wilson family is not having any of that and won’t let her touch base with him. She is devastated on their rejection and doesn’t quite know how to handle it. Hmm, tough call here. This is SUCH a sensitive subject, and since we don’t really know much behind this incident, how do we know how Owen will even react. However, rumour has it that it might not have been a suicide attempt since X17 Online recently snapped pics of Owen Wilson leaving his lil’ bro Luke’s house without bandages or scars on his wrists! Regardless, poor guy, and poor Kate.

It is so sad when a celebrity we have come to know and love for their remarkable talent to make us laugh to the core experiences the tragedy that Owen Wilson has. With his recent suicide attempt making headlines, more reports are leaking out as to the details leading up to the tragic attempt. The New York Post is now reporting on the issues behind Owen Wilson’s suicide attempt and the battles he has been waging this year that led up to this desperate cry for help. In the months before his suicide attempt, Owen had been struggling with both cocaine and heroin addictions as well as depression following his very public breakup with Kate Hudson. The breakup itself has been attributed to his drug problems which became so severe an intervention had taken place in his Mauii home. Those close to Owen indicate the real root of the problem is one of Owen’s cohorts with whom he has worked with in several films – Steve Coogan. Owen is now resting under doctor’s care in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The NY Post also reports that he has dropped out of his upcoming comedy “Tropic Thunder” that’s being directed by Ben Stiller. We wish you nothing but the best for a speedy recovery, Owen!

Now many in Hollywood are speculating that it was the sight of these photographs [Kate Hudson & Dax Shepard kissing in the grocery store] that tipped Owen Wilson, one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars, over the edge.

Friends have said that he had been deeply upset since splitting with the actress, the daughter of Goldie Hawn, shortly before Christmas last year.

The 38-year-old star of Wedding Crashers and Starsky And Hutch was said to have slashed his wrist and taken an overdose of pills at his Los Angeles home.

He was found in a ‘semi-conscious’ state by his brother and, after initial hospital treatment, was transferred to a detox unit where his condition was described as stable last night.

Wilson said in a statement: “I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

We wish him a fast recovery. The world would NOT be the same without him. We love you Owen!!!!!
