Here is Petra Nemcova at the premiere of ‘Un Conte de Noel’ (A Christmas Tale) at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France this week. One look here and there is no surprise why she is one of the most sought after supermodels on the globe. Petra is making her rounds while in France, and supported not only the Cannes Film Festival, but also a benefit for the Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation the night prior. The story of ‘Un Conte de Noel’ is directed by Arnaud Desplechin and is one of family relationships, about a family that comes together at Christmas to overcome sibling rivalries that have previously fractured the family unit. And, in a glorious Egyptian inspired gown, Petra shone the red carpet as per usual.

Petra Nemcova has taken over from Gemma Atkinson as the new face of La Senza Lingerie. What doesn’t this girl do? emm… oh ya, act, think and read, just kidding.

No, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure out who is the supermodel in this picture and who is the pop artist. Here you see Petra Nemcova and Avril Lavigne attending the KOI opening in Vegas and they paused for a few shots together. Petra is seen towering over Avril, which is funny because I guess you don’t really realize how short a celeb is until they’re standing next to supergiants. This didn’t stop either of them from looking killer dynamite for the event, as they both appeared in gorgeous satin black dresses that complemented their fabulous smiles.

Well… celebrities always get a lot of flack when they try and do some charity work, as if people just can not accept that maybe not everything is about getting publicity. But many are still sitting on the fence with Petra Nemcova’s work for tsunami victims with the Happy Hearts Fund. Some are saying there is mismanagement at the top levels and that the charity is more for show than anything. Reps from the Happy Heart Fund deny those allegations saying over $2.5 million has been raised since the charity’s inauguration and an expected $3 million more in the works. Those that attended the Happy Hearts Fund Heart of Gold Ball in NYC Wednesday night didn’t seem to buy into the mismanagement theory and were more than happy to support this worthy cause. Here we see Petra with Eva Mendes at the event, and the other attendees included the likes of Uma Thurman, Wyclef Jean, and Bruce Willis.
