Well this is one that is definitely a shocker. But it sounds like Rihanna has given the nasty Chris Brown another chance. Could this mean another chance for him to beat her senseless? That seems to be the impression that the rest of the world is taking, and her parents, not so surprisingly, are not taking the news well. A source close to the couple are saying that yes, they are together again because they really care about each other. Chris has been ‘reflective’ and is really sad about what happened, but is happy to be back with the woman that he loves. The ‘happy reunion’ came last week when Chris called Rihanna on her 21st birthday to send his well wishes. And I guess old feelings die hard, because this led to their re-coupling and giving the relationship another kick at the can. Naturally, everyone in Rihanna’s corner wouldn’t mind it if a little more time passed before they took this leap, or if they just didn’t take the leap at all. But the couple seems to be doing what they want to do, rather than heeding too much to other people’s opinions. The hardest part about this for Rihanna’s family is that this highly publicized situation was not the first for Rihanna, and that Chris has a history of bullying her around a little bit. Like everyone, Rihanna’s family figured that this abuse situation would seal the deal permanently for the couple, but it doesn’t look like that is the case. Following Rihanna’s birthday, the two spent the weekend in Miami and hung out at the Star Island mansion of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and are clearly working on their reconciliation. But Rihanna’s family says they just don’t want her to have to go through this pain again. But they may not have a choice, if Chris Brown HASN’T changed, then we may be hearing about more allegations down the road. Unless of course they just work a little harder to keep the controlling personalities under wraps and we just don’t hear about it as publicly. OR, he has really changed, you know, because violent personalities can actually change overnight, right? Wrong. But let’s hope he is getting the help he says he is and that Rihanna is doing the right thing. Otherwise, they are both adults and there is not a whole lot that anyone can do but sit back and hope for the best.

Oh yes, here we have the man who is making women angry all over the country. He has lost some fans BIG TIME with his most recent scuzzy man actions hasn’t he? And here he is, just hours before an event that has literally sent his career into the toilet. Chris Brown is seen here arriving at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards Clive Davis Party in Beverly Hills, an event that he attended with his girlfriend Rihanna, and an event that will mark the evening of the end of his career, as this was and will be the last time these two were spotted together. We all know that Chris Brown has some very serious abuse allegations against him as of last Saturday night, the night he attended the aforementioned party and allegedly beat up his girlfriend Rihanna. And one would think that a man in his position would be reacting rather embarrassed, remorseful, I don’t know, but SOMETHING. Instead, he is waiting for the day when the public turns on Rihanna, which is what he predicts is going to happen. Since Sunday, Chris has been hiding from America in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel. And while he was in there, I guess he got caught up with some Facebook time, because he has since changed his Facebook status to tell the world that we’ll ‘begin to see her true colors. Believe it!’ He also made the bold relationship step in public by changing his relationship status to ‘single’ but I guess he was in haste, as he has yet to update his ‘looking for’ to ‘prison daddy’. Since his Facebook time in Vegas, he has been spotted leaving the Hard Rock, and spending some time with his mom. Rihanna has been sticking around Los Angeles with the support of her friends and her assistant Melissa Forde. It has been reported that Chris and Rihanna were advised to stick around the L.A. area for the investigation of their case. And one little detail about their investigation is the history of their relationship, because surprise, surprise, this may not have been the first incident. In November, Rihanna was spotted wearing a diamond encrusted eye patch at the American Music Awards, and at the time, she chalked it up to a scratched cornea. However, the Sun of London stated that she didn’t take the patch off, and so Police are investigating the cause of that injury as well. This would have probably been the result of something that Rihanna hinted at herself, because that is not something that would get ‘pulled out of a hat’ by investigators, ESPECIALLY when celebrities are concerned. But friends as well are now starting to speak loudly to help their friend Rihanna.

Also getting steadily worse: the chances that Chris Brown’s nice guy image was grounded in reality. I mean, “her true colors”? This is a woman who’s got matching forehead contusions. If she files charges, I don’t think there’s much the world can find out about her that will stop us from giving her a standing ovation every time she walks by.

And many of us were expecting the very same thing last night, where was expected to attend the Grammy’s with his girlfriend, happening starlet herself Rihanna. But at the last minute, both of these major celebs had to cancel their appearances, and it all may come down to assault and battery. NOT looking good for Chris Brown right now. He is officially under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery, says the LAPD but his victim, has not been identified. The LAPD have said that ‘Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality.’ So is it just a coincidence that Rihanna has suddenly dropped off the planet? Both of these stars were not just supposed to ATTEND the event, but perform as well, and this was the report from the Grammy

The night before the ceremony, well, the day of actually, Chris Brown was seen in a vehicle in Los Angeles. With the aforementioned unidentified victim. The two became involved in an argument, and Chris pulled his car over and stopped. The argument ‘escalated’ and the woman suffered ‘visible injuries’ and identified Chris Brown as her attacker. The fight was called in to 911, and when the police arrived, Chris Brown had already left, and the victim was alone. If Chris Brown is located, he will be subject to arrest as per the LAPD. Prior to THIS incident, that same evening Chris Brown and Rihanna were spotted together at the Recording Academy and Clive Davis’s Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills. So hmm…what do you think happened here? Well, all her reps can say about it is ‘Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.’. No no no, this does not sound good for Rihanna…not at ALL.

Ah yes, the style icons in Tinseltown have been waiting on pins and needles this week for the long awaited annual 10 Best Dressed Stars list of People Magazine. Hmm….who do you think made the cut? You will probably notice that there are few if any surprises, but let’s keep in mind there are only 10 slots to fill, and yes, I am sure there was some disappointment in Hollywood once the names were announced. Not surprisingly at all, Sarah Jessica Parker hit the list for probably her umpteenth year in a row, and was chosen due to her ‘expert eclectic style’ and I love that. Anne Hathaway has been wowing designers ever since she broke it big in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and she made the cut, along with Charlize Theron, Rihanna, Eva Mendes, and of course Kate Hudson. Heidi Klum hit the list for being ‘Model Chic’ and one surprise I noted was Fergie, who was described as a ‘Refined Rocker’. I don’t think she has any style ‘issues’ per se, however, she wouldn’t make a top 10 in my books. Another surprise came from Gwyneth Paltrow’s appearance on the list, and she was chosen for her evolution in the fashion world this year, having ‘revved up her classic look’ as we see here now less preppy and more in the thigh baring mini dresses and mongo heels. What DID surprise me the most was seeing Michelle Obama’s name appear, and her style was defined as ‘Classy and Confident’ and again, though I am not saying she is not a very well dressed lady, there were a few Tinseltown style queens that were probably a little pouty about being beat out by Michelle Obama. Those pouts I am sure are hanging on the lips of Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes, two infamously impeccably styled women that well….just didn’t make the cut this year. Sorry girls. Better luck next year.

Here is a shot of Rihanna performing at the HP Pavilion in San Jose this past Saturday night. This is one girl who is really into the color pops this season as she has been showing up at events with the brightest looks, and here her nails are doing all the talking for her color choices. But I am wondering why this choice of nail color however when she’s got an obvious clash with the rest of her ensemble. It may be just because she is one busy girl. Rihanna is in talks now with Ne-Yo, along with a few other collaborators, to help him finish his latest album ‘Year of the Gentleman’. Ne-Yo is trying to wrap it up as he prepares to go on tour with Alicia Keys and Jordin Sparks and the album is described as ‘not exactly urban, not exactly pop’. Hm, sounds like a great team for an album with a unique sound. And Rihanna is always a good choice for anything musically inclined these days. She may not have time to change her nail color, but that is one talented girl.
