This sounds like it is going to be one of those stories where a lot of information is being kept under the rug but more and more will leak out as time goes on. Shia LeBeouf was involved in a DUI in the wee hours of Sunday morning in Los Angeles, after bending the arm a little too much in some Saturday night partying. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries, as did Shia’s passenger. Until now, the identity of Shia’s passenger had been kept under wraps, but it sounds like his Transformer’s co-star Isabel Lucas was the unidentified passenger that sustained minor injuries in the Sunday crash. Shia himself sustained injuries that required immediate surgery, but Isabel’s injuries are as yet unknown. Isabel’s people of course are not confirming her attendance at the accident, and are simply saying ‘everything out there is speculation….she’s at work today on the set of Transformers 2’. Ok. That’s an interesting way to not deny something. However, witnesses are now coming forth saying that Shia was seen downing a bevy of shots in an L.A. nightclub just hours before the accident and was said to be ‘acting crazy’. I guess the only good thing about this whole situation is that it didn’t end up being much worse than it obviously could have.

And while smoking isn’t exactly the coolest thing to do anymore, Shia may need a few more in the days ahead given the pot of hot water he’s found himself in. This past Sunday, Shia was injured in a car accident and also arrested on suspicion of drunk driving that caused the accident. At 3 A.M. Sunday morning in Hollywood, Shia was involved in a collision and suffered minor injuries to his head and knee but required extensive surgery on his hand. His passenger sustained some minor injuries and so did the driver of the other vehicle. Arresting officers on the scene reported that Shia was showing ‘outward signs of intoxication’ and given that the injuries were considered minor, the charge was a misdemeanor DUI. His reps are only confirming that an accident has occurred and have said little to nothing about the involvement of alcohol in the accident. Their official word is that he is recovering from surgery and will be returning to the set of Transformers 2 within a months time. And as usual, no further comment at this time. But this is not the first time that Shia has found himself in trouble with the police in an alcohol related incident. Last November he was taken into custody because he refused to leave a grocery store, and he was believed to be drunk then as well. Maybe this is one of those situations where he will never learn. Particularly since celebrities are spending approximately 12 minutes in jail every time they get behind the wheel drunk. Time will tell.

Quick question: Why is it so difficult to appear in court? What a douche! A cute douche that is.

Hard to believe someone *this* cute could get himself in so much trouble over something ridiculous. Shia Leboeuf may look pretty and innocent (emphasis on pretty) but he’s got himself in some hot water. On February 18th he was ticketed for unlawful smoking in Burbank, for smoking outside a shop called Skyblupink. He was supposed to appear in court at 8:30 A.M. yesterday on the matter, but neither he nor a lawyer showed. No that’s never good, so a $1000 bench warrant was issued for his arrest. But is it just me, or does it seem a little ridiculous that a court date would be set for a smoking charge? Sheesh, those folks in California really take air pollution seriously. And as a result, Shia Leboeuf is a wanted man, in so many more ways than it may seem.

Here we have the cutie pie Transformers Star Shia Labeouf taking a banana break in between takes on the set of his latest movie “Eagle Eye”. He looks so sweet and innocent, doesn’t he? But it turns out that Shia is not all purity, peaches and cream as Shia found himself in a bit of a pickle with the Po-lice in Chicago November 4th. Saturday night he had a few too many drinks and then found himself in a Chicago Walgreens. He was asked to leave at one point, and apparently flat out refused. Guess those Chicago Walgreens stores are pretty spectacular! At any rate, a security guard detained him, the police were called and he was arrested at 2:30 AM and then spent the night ‘downtown’ sobering up. His bail was posted by 7 AM and he was released. Throughout the ordeal he was called ‘very courteous and polite’ which one can only expect from this innocent looking mug. Ah yes, Shia Labeouf, the rebel rouser making trouble in a pharmacy. Who woulda thunk? Scandalous!! It’s good to see him back @ filming movies, again!
