It is no secret that Sophie Monk and Benji Madden had a pretty torrid thing going, right down to the diamond ring on her finger. It is no more of a secret that the second he was free Paris Hilton snatched him up before her manicure had even dried. Sophie has now made a point of letting us all know that Benji did not in fact leave her for Paris. She says their relationship had simply ‘run its course’ and that it was a mutual decision to break it off and move on. When does an engagement ‘run its course’ because in my world, I thought that meant forever?? However…..Sophie is lucky that she doesn’t need to spend time pining for Benji as since the breakup her career has gone into overdrive. And I don’t think anyone really believes Benji would leave anyone, even his dog, for Paris Hilton. Noone takes that relationship seriously. She might, as she has been seen sporting Benji’s clothing line, DCMA Collective from head-to-toe as well as wearing a “B” necklace when out shopping in L.A. But honestly, Paris doesn’t even take her pets seriously, is she really going to settle with this one? Nope. Just don’t see it happening.

It appears that Sophie Mark has a reason to cry some blues. She has recently returned to Australia with no man candy or fiancé in tow. Sophie has been engaged to Benji Madden for almost a year, and Benji is probably more famous through his brother, Joel Madden who is the father to Nicole Richie’s baby. But now as far as Sophie and Benji are concerned, the word is that the two have hit splitsville. She has cancelled appearances, citing family reasons and has been spotted alone more than not. In fact, it has not gone unnoticed that she and Benji as a couple have completely slipped off the radar. Her own family won’t comment on the issue, telling folks to discuss the situation with her manager. Right, because THAT’S not too obvious. Poor thing. But you know what they say, it’s better these things happen now, before the ugly celebrity divorces hit the news stands. And I really don’t think she will have a hard time getting back in the game.

You have to know with a movie named Sex and Death 101 that you are going to get some juicy goods going, and the producers and directors do not disappoint. In this upcoming flick you will see Sophie Monk in a full-out nude scene. In the same movie you will also get the opportunity to see Winona Ryder do a nude scene as well. This is interesting because Winona has always kind of taken a stand herself against nude scenes, but since she has been off the radar a bit lately maybe she’s trying to amp back her career or something. The scene with Winona itself is apparently very fast, but long enough for Winona fans to uh, get what they came for. Oh, and these pics are NSFW… if clicked!

Benji Madden and Sophie Monk spent some time in Vegas last weekend. To recap, Benji Madden is Nicole Richie’s Baby Daddy’s brother,  and Sophie Monk is a hot actress from Australia (and Benji’s main squeeze). Are the two just comfortable with each other, or does he have a wandering eye? Reports indicated the two barely spent any time together in the Bellaggio nighclub as Benji wandered around posing for pics and Sophie danced by herself. Once again, only time will tell.
