From what we have seen the last few episodes of The Hills, Audrina Patridge and Lauren Conrad seemed to have patched things up a little bit when it comes to the ever growing bridge in their friendship. Though recent events seem to indicate otherwise, and it seems that the two may even be fighting over a boy. Yes, this is interesting news of late, considering Lauren is ticked at Stephanie for doing the unthinkable and chasing down one of her exes, but wellll….Lauren may have broken her own friendship rule when it comes to Audrina’s man. We’ve seen Audrina hanging out with Justin Bobby quite a bit, both last season and this season, but there is no exclusive arrangement between the two, and Audrina has enjoyed much time with other boys. And Lauren has capitalized on this, we think, and the two are ‘sparring’ with each other on their MySpace pages. This has all been due to some Internet rumors that Lauren has been hooking up with Justin, and this is what Audrina has to say via MySpace:

“These rumors are very confusing and hurtful,” she writes in a post on Friday. “I’m not sure what to believe,” she writes, noting that she and Justin Bobby “have not been exclusive for quite some time.”

But what is really going on between Audrina and Justin? They still seem to be going hot and heavy, so why doesn’t she just ask HIM? Oh right, because men are so honest, right? Well you know. Those two WERE spotted at West Hollywood’s Crown bar just recently where onlookers said they were inseparable all night, and were giggling and hand holding and doing all sorts of crazy things together. So if Justin can’t be honest, Lauren wants to set the record straight.

“This accusation is insulting on so many levels. I’m being accused of being a bad friend, a slut and a liar all at once. It would actually be funny to me if people weren’t taking it seriously. I did not and would never hook up with Justin.”

So that was Lauren’s message to the public. What did she have to say to Audrina?

“We promised we wouldn’t let people get into our ears and make us fight,” she wrote. “You KNOW I didn’t do this and I have never given you a reason not to trust me. What you are doing is hurtful and I don’t want to fight with you.”

Hmmm…sounds like the two have some issues to work out. And since they are supposed to kind of be BFF, they may want to take this out of the public eye and just DEAL. Of course then, what would WE have to talk about?

Here is Gossip Girls favorite pretty boy, Chace Crawford working hard on the set of Gossip Girl as they film a series for the upmarket holiday destination of the Hamptons. Ah yes, viewers will get a birds eye view of how the Upper East Sider’s ‘summer’ when the season opens once again. And it seems that while Chace hask been working hard on the East Coast, he has been setting his romantic sights on the opposite end of the country, and has been vying for some West Coast girls pretty hard and heavy. What’s that you say? Chace Crawford isn’t gay after all? Welll….I didn’t say that. But Chace has made it no secret that the starlets of The Hills are girls after his own heart. (maybe it’s the fashion thing?? At the Ultra Supper Club following the MMVAs last Sunday, Chace was seen with his hand on Whitney Port’s leg, however all this after he had told Lauren Conrad that there was ‘no kissing on the first date’. Hm. Chace Crawford not an early kisser? That lends more evidence for the other team I am afraid. But Chace did have some fun with Lauren and he has made it very public that he has a huge crush on her. And it seems the feelings are mutual, and Lauren was seen around Chace calling him ‘super cute’ and giggling in excess. Oh Lauren Lauren. He thinks she’s hot, she thinks he’s super cute, and he was doing the hand leg thing with Whitney Port. So…who do you think he will go for next? Heidi Montag or Brody Jenner?

Here is the quieter of the bunch when it comes to The Hills starlets, Whitney Port as she is seen leaving Gotham Hall in New York City. Yes, I heart New York is now one of Whitney’s mantras, ever since we watched her career take some twists that brought her over to the East Coast. Whitney is now working for fashion PR firm People’s Revolution on the East Coast, and it looks like Hills fans want more of her. So much so that instead of incorporating this story line into The Hills, Whitney is getting her own spin-off. Whitney’s spin-off will be very much like The Hills, but not taking place in ‘the Hills’ and will show her making new friends and hanging out in New York. Among the list of Whitney’s new chums will be New York socialite Olivia Palermo, and we will see Whitney climbing her way to the top as a career girl in New York City. Lauren Conrad, Whitney’s work BFF thinks Whitney will be able to pull off both the new show and her skyrocketing career in a heart beat, and knows she will do well on all accounts. Lauren has always respected how Whitney kept her personal life out of The Hills, and wonders if this new spin-off may bring Whitney out of that comfort zone. As far as Whitney’s thoughts on the show? She’s mum about it saying most of it is hearsay, as the girls are working hard on the 4th season of The Hills, and is not sure whether the spin-off will actually…spin off. But you know how Hollywood works. Rumors begin as a means of breaking things in to the public slowly….

Here is Audrina Patridge from The Hills leaving the Crown bar the other evening after enjoying a night out with some girlfriends. Notably, her former BF Lauren Conrad was not amongst the gaggle of girls. And yes, we’ve all been looking for some sign of a truce between the two ever since the season finale of The Hills, where it appeared that Lauren’s BF Lauren Bosworth, AKA “Lo”, was coming between the roomies. Fans were left hanging and are still wondering what is up with these two. Friends or foes? Who knows, in fact, it seems that even they aren’t sure what’s up. Lauren Conrad describes the friendship as “tense” and it is more than a little obvious that the two have kept their distance at public appearances. But both Laurens have been trying to reach out to Audrina. Yes, word is that Audrina is still living in the guest house of the home she shares with Lo and Lauren, but they don’t see much of her. And they may not, a move on Audrina’s part was hinted on the last episode, and they still aren’t sure if that is going to be the case. Lauren Conrad on the other hand hopes things work out and is staying positive. Audrina feels the same, and doesn’t want to see the friendship end. I guess we just have to tune in to the next season to see the real dirt, huh? Never fails….
